Antarctic Expedition - Morris Mini-Trac - 1965 | Limited Edition

Story

It has become a tradition for us to explore the extraordinary creations of the automotive industry. With the arrival of winter, it is only logical for us to search throughout history for the most incredible snow vehicles. Conquering the harsh conditions of the coldest parts of the Earth, we have prepared the fourth edition of our annual Extraordinary Vehicle poster. Introducing the Mini-Trac exploration vehicle used by the ANARE to plough through the freezing conditions of Antarctica.

The Mini-Trac had been used in the '60s of the last century to help the Australian expedition arrive at the Vostok Station – a place where the world's coldest temperature would be recorded some 20 years later. Modified by Terry O'Hare, the Mini Morris 850 turned out to be the perfect base because of its robust front-wheel drive, compact size, and friendly price tag. The perfect combination of functionality and style.

UNIQUE PRODUCTION PROCESS

Our expertise in CGI and 3D modelling means we can recreate and digitalize any moment from history. We spend many hours researching to be as accurate as possible, perfecting every single detail imaginable. With this, we’re able to use our highly detailed models to create animations, social media content, behind the scenes documentaries, and more – taking them beyond just being a piece of artwork.
