Story

The coronavirus pandemic may have given rise to one of F1’s most unpredictable calendars – a 17-race sprint from July to December centred largely in Europe at circuits that were familiar, had previously faded from view or were utterly foreign to the sport – but when the lights went out the shape of the pecking order was unchanged. After dominating 6 consecutive seasons, the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team did not break into a sweat on the way to wrapping up a record seventh consecutive Constructors’ Championship.
