Story

The Mercedes-AMG F1 W12 E Performance is making its return! Built under the leadership of James Allison, it was designed specifically to compete in the 2021 Formula One® World Championship. Building upon the success of the previous season's Mercedes-AMG F1 W11 EQ Performance, the W12 led the team to their record-breaking eighth consecutive constructors' title with Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas finishing second and third respectively in the drivers' standings.

Following the change of regulations for the 2021 season, the W12 was powered by the M12 E Performance 1.6 L V6 mid-situated engine, which was coupled with a hybrid electrically boosted single turbocharger and an E-Booster electric motor connected to the crankshaft. This combination resulted in a powerhouse of a car with an incredible 1,050 hp (780 kW) power output. The car's lightweight construction weighing only 752 kg (1,657.9 lb) allowed for nimble handling and maximum speed, making it a formidable competitor on the racetrack.

Releasing as a part of our newest Blueprint Collection, the Mercedes W12 is the first of many new artworks to join the roster. Serving as a highlight reel of the craftsmanship and design excellence, the vehicle is depicted from various angles to showcase all of the intriguing details. Focused mainly on the vehicle's performance and achievements, the poster contains a table of starts, wins and podiums finishes, as well as the names of drivers that led the car to its success. Complemented with the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 colours, the poster is a true homage to the team's impressive 2021 season.
