Story

The Porsche 917 gave the brand its most glorious moments in Le Mans, that began with the victory in 1970 and went on to become 19 more wins for Porsche. That’s why we have taken this iconic car into the future, for a 24-hour competition a few decades ahead, in a dystopian future full of Urban hues and structures, the competitive nature remains the same, and the car livery remains the same - as a tribute to the win in 1970, where it all began. Automobilist is delighted to turn this vision into, if not reality exactly, then at least this stunning poster.

But the Le Mans in 1970 is where it all began, with this tribute.

UNIQUE PRODUCTION PROCESS

Our expertise in CGI and 3D modelling means we can recreate and digitalize any moment from history. We spend many hours researching to be as accurate as possible, perfecting every single detail imaginable. With this, we’re able to use our highly detailed models to create animations, social media content, behind the scenes documentaries, and more – taking them beyond just being a piece of artwork.
