Automobilist announces the expansion of its signature Helmet Collection to include David Coulthard
October 1st, 2019 - Automobilist, automotive fine art maker, has partnered with David Coulthard to celebrate his impacts on Formula 1 both as a former driver and current presenter, commentator, and journalist.

• Automobilist has released Helmet Design Poster featuring former Formula 1 driver turned presenter and commentator David Coulthard
• Created to celebrate David Coulthard's 13 wins, 62 podiums, and 2001 Vice-World Championship Title
• Expands Automobilist's signature Helmet Collection to 7 pieces

With the addition of Coulthard alongside Alonso, Schumacher, Senna, Hunt, Stewart and Doohan, Automobilist's signature Helmet Collection of Design Posters now grows to 7 pieces.

The newest poster features the very same Arai helmet Coulthard wore at the infamous 2000 French Grand Prix he won while racing with West McLaren Mercedes. The blue and white stripes pay homage to his birthplace of Scotland.

"Thank you for recognizing the journey I was having in Formula 1. This particular year and this period, was very successful, a winning period of my career. It certainly takes me on a little memory journey back to that time," commented David Coulthard, who raced for McLaren-Mercedes from 1997 to 2004.

Fans of David Coulthard worldwide can now order the Helmet Design Poster at Automobilist.com and approved retailers.
