Product description

Dawn of Endurance

Relive a defining moment from the golden era of endurance racing with this officially licensed Ferrari puzzle, inspired by the 1962 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Set at the iconic Virage de Mulsanne, the artwork captures Jean Guichet driving the red Ferrari 250 GTO alongside Pierre Noblet, on their way to victory in the GT class and an impressive second overall finish. In the background, the mint green 250 GTO, originally built for Stirling Moss and driven by Innes Ireland and Masten Gregory, tells a different story, retiring early and adding a layer of what-could-have-been to this historic scene.
Printed with premium clarity and a soft-touch matte finish, the completed puzzle measures 97 x 34 cm (38 ⅕ × 13 ⅖ in), perfect for framing or rebuilding as a meditative tribute to performance at its finest.

Story behind

Not Sterling Without Stirling

As the early morning sun rises over the Virage de Mulsanne, Jean Guichet exits one of the most famous corners in racing in the red Ferrari 250 GTO. Together with Pierre Noblet, he would go on to claim victory in the GT class and finish second overall at the 1962 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Behind them, the mint green GTO driven by Innes Ireland and Masten Gregory, a car originally built for Stirling Moss, would not share the same fate, retiring after 165 laps. Moss’ absence, following his career-ending crash earlier that year, leaves open a compelling question: how might the race have unfolded had he been on the grid?
